Some experiences are once in a lifetime and then some they occur for a
Lifetime.
As a creative I find myself walking a tightrope often leaning into heavy pessimism in one
moment and then countering this, or trying to, with overwhelming optimism in another.
All in the name of finding a steady footing along a very fine Line. All for the sake of survival.
With an independent creative career you're faced with the task and challenge of knowing which opportunities and experiences are merely one off, and which ones are more likely to come again. The additional task you're faced with in moments of scarcity, is that you have to create the opportunities. Your creations will be the driving factor behind the frequency and scale of your opportunities. The energy and effort put into your creative pursuits doubles, triples and even quadruples the results of this cycle. It's a cycle that can only be maintained by you.

A great deal of discipline, focus and commitment is needed in order to make any of this a reality. Regardless of the tools available, consistency will always keep you prepared should opportunity come knocking. This preparedness will be your way of getting ahead. You can only be counted for experience and opportunities if you are present as a Career Creative and individually. If your passions feel more like a purpose the task is on you to convert your efforts from a burst of energy to a consistent burning flame. This flame will no doubt be a light to new doors, new experiences and even new people. You'll become known for all of the work that you do which fuels that light and with every new journey, every new quest, every new opportunity,
you walk more confidently seeing your way through the darkness of uncertainty.

Creatives all throughout history and across the world have had momentous effects on society and culture because of their dedication to their craft and consistency.
Be cautious however being surrounded by a world of endless output just all fighting for
space in your input that can and will distract you.
The only way through it without fail is to stay focused, to stay consistent and remember to follow your compass thank you.
